on David sin

David’s sin shows that his spiritual life had not yet reached a level of maturity and solid foundation.

His walk was not sufficiently anchored to fully resist temptations, and the
immaturity of his spiritual life led him to yield. A man can be considered close to God, “after God’s own heart,” and manifest a degree of sincere spirituality without being entirely renewed and regenerated in the morality required for
salvation. Such was the case with David.

Davis was in a fallen, lost, spiritually dead state because he remained in his sinful state knowingly, without the intervention of the prophet Nathan. Contrary to the lying movements that want us to believe that he remained saved in the favor of God in his sins.

Lying movements often rely on the prodigal son to justify their lax teachings on sin. However, it is essential to note that the prodigal son did one time only and did not go back and forth between the Father’s house and a life of sin . He left once, and when he recognized his miserable state, he
abandoned his sins and then he returned permanently.

Luke 15:32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.
Unfortunately, this is not the normal state of a mature Christian; it is an abnormality. It is important to emphasize that the text highlights the fact that it was the younger son, who still needed to grow, who committed the act of leaving the Father’s house not the older son, who represents
spiritual and holy maturity.

‘I never transgressed your commandment at any time’ (Luke 15:29), emphasizes the fullness of a holy life in him, showing his spiritual faithfulness and obedience.
