Matthew 7:21

Matthew 7:21
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Those who say “Lord, Lord” may indeed claim to have faith just as the false evangelical movements constantly emphasize “faith in Jesus” while living in contradiction to His commandments. But Jesus clearly affirms that only those who DO the will of the Father, that is, those who walk in complete holiness, pure obedience, and sinlessness, will enter the Kingdom.

Faith without perfect obedience is useless, dead, and condemned.

The Kingdom of God Requires Perfect Holiness

Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

If the Kingdom of God truly comes into the heart of a man through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, that Kingdom produces only one kind of life:

pure holiness,

ripe fruits of righteousness,

total obedience,

a life without sin.

The Kingdom cannot produce occasional sin, compromise, or spiritual lukewarmness. Heaven contains no sin  therefore the Kingdom of Heaven in the heart produces the same.

A Holy Tree Cannot Produce Sin

Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

This simple truth destroys the evangelical lie that a Christian can remain occasionally sinful and still be saved. Jesus Himself affirms that bad fruit reveals a bad tree, no matter how loudly the person says “Lord, Lord.”

The judgment of God will evaluate works, not claims of faith.

Final Judgment Is Based on Deeds, Not on Verbal Faith

Romans 2:6
Who will render to every man according to his works…

Revelation 20:12
The dead were judged… according to their works.

Jesus never said that belief alone would save anyone. The final judgment examines:

obedience,

holiness,

purity of heart,

conformity to the Law of God,

the total abandonment of sin.

Evangelicals deny this truth and replace it with a comfortable doctrine that allows sin while pretending to honor Christ.

The Lie of “Salvation by Faith Alone”

These heretical modern movements sit comfortably on a spiritual couch of “already-saved,” imagining themselves safe though they remain slaves to occasional sin. They claim that:

past sins are forgiven,

present sins are tolerated,

future sins are already paid for.

This doctrine is false, deceitful, and incompatible with Scripture.

The Word of God teaches the opposite:
The blood of Christ forgives past sins so that man may live in complete holiness all the days of his life.

Anything less is a lie.

Obedience Is Not Pride  It Is the Requirement for Salvation

Matthew 7:21 again
He who DOES the will of my Father will enter the Kingdom.

Doing God’s will is not pride. It is the normal condition of a saved soul. Holiness is not boasting it is obedience. Perfect righteousness is not self-exaltation—it is the natural life of the Kingdom of God, already lived by angels and saints in heaven.

Those who reject the necessity of holiness are the ones exalting themselves above the Word of God.

2 Timothy 2:19
Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

This is not advice.
This is a divine requirement.

Those who say “Lord, Lord” have faith they believe in Jesus, they claim His name but their lives are not marked by ripe fruit, perfect purity, and total holiness. They resemble the church of Sardis:

Revelation 3:1-2
You have a name that you live, but you are dead… your works are not perfect before God.

If salvation were obtained by faith alone, Jesus would not say to believers who profess His name:

“Depart from Me.”

But He will say it  because they are not holy.

Imperfect Fruit Is Rejected at the Final Harvest

These people may have “fruit,” but the fruit is:

unripe,

incomplete,

impure,

unacceptable before God.

Occasional sin, tolerated weakness, or partial holiness are all condemned by Jesus as insufficient for eternal life. Faith without complete transformation is worthless.

Jesus demands:

entire sanctification,

perfect obedience,

sinlessness, WITHOUT SIN

purity of heart,

complete conformity to the Father’s will.

Nothing else will enter the Kingdom.

Matthew 7:21 stands as a terrifying warning to all who claim faith without holiness. It exposes every doctrine that excuses sin and unmasks every counterfeit gospel that promises salvation without transformation. Jesus rejects not only the wicked but also the “almost righteous”  those whose lives bear fruit yet not perfect fruit. They believed, but they did not become holy. They confessed Christ, but they did not obey Him. They hoped for heaven, but they never abandoned sin. Only the soul who walks in pure righteousness, in total holiness, and in complete victory over sin will stand on that Day. All others, regardless of their faith claims, religious activities, or emotional experiences, will hear the most dreadful sentence ever spoken: “Depart from Me.”
